CRC OXIDE CLEAN. It is an oil for cleaning terminals, it is used for restoration of corroded electrical terminals. In addition to corrosion-dissolving components, the aerosol contains the mixture of solvents removing dirt and pitched oils and lubricants. In reality, issues related to electrical contacts are caused not only by corrosion, but also by fuel contamination which forms low-conductivity coating on the surface of contacts. It quickly evaporates. It removes corrosion products (oxides, sulphates, sulphides, carbonates). It dissolves dirt, oily and resin stains. It restores low-voltage discharge of electrical contacts. The aerosol bottle has a 360° valve (it works in any position of the bottle). Application: CRC OXIDE CLEAN. Lamp terminals in lighting system of passenger cars, trucks, buses, trailers, vans, tractors... Clamp-connectors used for connecting wires in the auto industry. Contact points of plugs used for circuits of electrical and electronic modules. Fuse clamps. Contact makers. Contacts of stamped circuits. Sleeve and spring contacts. Sleeve contacts or spring loaded contacts. Instructions for application: CRC OXIDE CLEAN. Do not use on energized equipment. Apply CRC OXIDE CLEAN on the corroded contacts. Preliminary wipe the contacts to speed up their cleaning and oxide dissolving. If the contacts are easily accessible, you can carefully wipe them using, e.g., cellulose, leather or cotton pads. If there is no possibility to wipe the contacts, leave CRC OXIDE CLEAN for 10 - 15 minutes to let it get absorbed and take effect. If possible, move the parts couple of times. The optimum result is reached if you apply CRC OXIDE CLEAN on the dissolved dirt and corrosion by-product once again. Let the solvent evaporate before starting the equipment. It is recommended to protect the contacts with RC Contact Protect or HD Vaseline after cleaning. Otherwise, they will be corroded very soon again.
