Description
Castrol CLS Grease can be used as a semi-liquid transmission lubricant. It is especially suitable for centralized lubrication systems in Daimler-Benz and MAN trucks and buses. These systems are mainly produced by Vogel and Interlube. Application of Castrol CLS Grease in them is easy and reliable. Castrol CLS Grease comprises lots of additives. It is an anti-seize lithium grease, which is resistant to high loads thanks to its anti-seize properties and ensures good protection against wear. Considering the qualiy of lithium soap, Castrol CLS Grease cab be considered a universal moisture-resistant grease. Castrol CLS Grease perfectly protects steel and copper parts from corrosion, has good anti-oxidative properties and very low flow pressure at 35 oC. The load, characterizing extreme-pressure qualities of the grease, when the Timken test shows a positive results, is significantly higher than the limit of 40 pounds specified in the factory standards MAN 283-00. Compatibility of Castrol CLS Grease with elastomers complies with the parameters, specified in specifications. Properties of the lubricating material comply with or exceed the requirements of the factory standards MAN 283-00 and Daimler-Benz (sheet 264 of the instruction for use of Mercedes-Benz materials). Approvals and specifications: MAN 283 Li-P 00/000; MB 264.0
