Gulf Harmony HVI is a series of premium mineral hydraulic oils with a high viscosity index in extreme temperatures. Description. Gulf Harmony HVI is a series of premium mineral hydraulic oils with a high viscosity index (HVI- High Viscosity Index), low pour point and excellent anti-friction properties. It is made of high-quality base stocks made of paraffin oils blended with an improved additive package containing anti-oxidants, anti-foaming and anti-friction components, as well as corrosion inhibitors. The oil contains a thickener to improve viscosity and temperature characteristics. It is recommended for use in hydraulic systems where the oils with a high viscosity index and anti-friction properties are required, especially, the one performing well under high loads and in severe temperatures. They exceed the requirements of the industrial standards DIN 51524 Part 3 HVLP, AFNOR NFE 48-603 (HV) & ISO 11158 HV and most OEM, such as Poclain, Hitachi, MAG IAS, LLC, Eaton & Denison.
