VX 1000 FAP 5W-40 is a high-performance, Low SAPS synthetic oil with low amount of sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur for use in gasoline and diesel engines. APPLICATION. It is specially developed and especially recommended for use in the following engines: • of Euro 4 and high standard, with exhaust gas after-treatment systems, or requiring on of the following oils: ACEA C3 in SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade, BMW LONGLIFE-04, MERCEDES-BENZ MB 229.31 or MB 226.5 • VOLKSWAGEN GROUP (AUDI, VOLKSWAGEN, SEAT, SKODA) to 2007 production year: gasoline (VW 502.00 norm), diesel (VW 505.01 and VW 505.00 norms), including diesel engines with pump-injectors, with standard maintenance intervals (15000 km/ 1 year) • RENAULT: gasoline and diesel engines, requiring oils which meet RN0710 or RN0700 norms • FORD: gasoline and diesel engines, requiring oils which meet WSS-M2C917-A norm • FIAT: gasoline and diesel engines, requiring oils which meet Fiat 9.55535-S2 norm in SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade • PORSCHE: gasoline and diesel engines, except those which require the oils meeting Porsche C30 norm • GENERAL MOTORS (OPEL, DAEWOO, CHEVROLET, ISUZU): gasoline and diesel engines, requiring oils which meet DEXOS2™ norm. It can be also used in all engine types of other manufacturers which require the oils meeting ACEA A3/B4-07, ACEA A3/B3-07 and/or API SN/SM/SL/CF norms in SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade. BENEFITS: • SAE 5W-40 viscosity grade and increased resistance to shear deformation ensure high-quality lubrication and optimum oil pressure in high-temperature operation conditions. • SAE 5W viscosity grade and excellent low-temperature characteristics ensure fast oil flow to the engine friction units, especially upon its start and reduce wear. • The use of the special Low SAPS additive package with low amount of sulfated ash, phosphorus and ash ensures protection of exhaust gas after-treatment systems and prevents environmental pollution thanks to the achieved fuel economy and CO2 emission reduction, as well as reduction of hazardous substances (hard particles, nitrogen oxide, etc.).
