This oil is formulated for heavy-duty transmission, axles and final drives which are subject to increased pressures and impact loads. Mobilube transmission oil ensures excellent chemical and thermal stability, good properties at low temperatures and protection from rust due to water presence or storage in humid environment. Application of Mobilube HD-N 80W-140 oil. Heavy-duty manual gearboxes, axles, final drives where API GL-5 must be met, including Scania STO 1:0. Light- and heavy-duty trucks, buses, mini-buses and passenger cars. Off-road vehicles, including construction, mining and agricultural vehicles. Other industrial gears, including hypoid ones, operating at high speeds/impact loads, high speeds/low loads and/or low speeds/high loads. It is not recommended when API GL-4 is required. It is not recommended for the transmissions requiring ATF fluids or motor oils. It may be required to use a special lubricant for limited slip differentials.
