Description
Castrol Transmax Dex III Multivehicle is formulated for use in automatic transmissions of General Motors (prior to 2005) and Ford (from 1983 to 1996), requiring Dexron® (II or III) or Mercon oils. This product is approved for use in heavy-duty Allison transmissions, requiring products of TES 389 quality level. This product is also allowed for use in a wide range of automatic transmissions of commercial vehicles of European manufacturing. It can be used in some hydraulic power steering. Benefits: A wide range of auto makers’ approvals significantly extends applications of this product. This oil comprises special components enhancing thermal stability and anti-oxidative properties which reduces a risk of formation of high-temperature deposits and increased viscosity during operation and, consequently, extends the oil service life. A specially selected frictional property ensures smooth gear shifting and efficient power transfer. A high viscosity index ensures stable viscosity in a wide temperature range to efficiently protect the transmission parts and ensure power steering performance. Remarks: Do not use in the units, requiring MERCON® V, MERCON® SP or DEXRON® VI fluids. Specifications: Allison C4; Allison TES 389; Ford Mercon; GM Dexron IIIH; MAN 339 Z1, V1; MB-Approval 236.9; Voith H55.6335.xx; Volvo 97340; Volvo 97341; ZF TE-ML 04D, 14A, 17C.
