Mercedes A 001 989 78 03 09

For autos with 722.9 automatic transmissions starting from production date 21.06.2010, it is allowed to use only FE-ATF 134 oil from the new approval sheet 236.15, which has a catalogue number A 001 989 78 03 which interchange is Shell Spirax S6 ATF 134ME oil. Exception — autos with OM629 diesel engines which transmissions must be filled only with the oil from 236.14 sheet (see above). So that it was easier to determine automatic transmissions which require the oil from the approval sheet 236.15, the manufacturer has changed the bottom of the package — if the old bottom had four circle stamps, the new ones have oval stamps on the bottom.

Blue-colored oil (as the manufacturer says) looks more like green, it resembles a light solution of brilliant green.

Main: A 001 989 78 03 oil must not be mixed in any proportions with any earlier used oils!!!The factory requires that service centers have a separate filling equipment for this oil.
